Investigation of the Eigenvector of Stochastic Finite Element Methods of Functionally Graded Beams with Random Elastic Modulus

This paper presents a stochastic finite element method to calculate the variation of eigenvalues and eigenvectors functionally graded beams. The modulus material is assumed have spatial uncertainty as one-dimensional random field. formulation for beam due randomness elastic given using first-order perturbation approach. approach was validated with Monte Carlo simulation in previous studies spectral representation generate statistics responses were investigated different fluctuations modulus. A comparison results showed minimal difference.
